Fairford Community Centre 10 Year Anniversary.

Fairford Community Centre will celebrate the 10th anniversary of its re-opening after extension and re-furbishment with a display and exhibition about the life of the building since its opening as a charity school in 1738.

This will be in the Barker room at the Centre on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd of June, Fairford’s Festival weekend, between 10 am and 4 pm, free entry, everybody welcome.

There will be a Pre-view and Reception on Friday 1st June from 7 to 9 pm for members and invited guests only.

We hope to see you there.

Our Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday 18th June in the Barker room at 7.30pm. 

All welcome.

Local Food Bank Now Open in Fairford Community Centre

We are extremely pleased to welcome the opening of a local food bank distribution point in the community centre. It is now open in the Heritage room every Wednesday from 1pm - 2.30pm and will be also be open every Wednesday over the Christmas period.

Please come along and meet our friendly team, you will be met with compassion, kindness, a listening ear, as well as a warm drink and a biscuit. Your foodbank voucher will be exchanged for three days of emergency food.

Food bank vouchers are available from Schools, Citizens Advice, Doctor Surgeries, Health care professionals, if you need help in getting a voucher then please contact Rachel Brindley or drop in one Wednesday afternoon to talk to a volunteer.

If you would like to help by donating items of food then please drop off your donations into the FCC office any weekday morning.

Any extra help is always appreciated and if you are interested in helping by volunteering either at the food bank in Fairford or other local ones then please contact Rachel Brindley

All those using or interested in the Community Centre are cordially invited to join us and become members of FCC Ltd. We welcome new members, and there is no joining or membership fee, just a general meeting once a year, when we report on the year's activities.
